Recycled Craft Bags Various

After work #scrapbusting 100% cotton tablecloth purchased end of line (thought it could be cost effective quilt backing, but a little loose weave), cotton lawn scrap for lining, cotton flannel quilt batting off-cut for padding. Didn't quilt these as they are fine with a soft look.  No pattern. Boxed corners

Craft bag and coin purse made out of Fallon's jacket I made her 5yrs ago (wasn't warm) from Cath Kidston cotton duck, 2nd hand quilting cotton lining, leftover oilcloth cotton, UK made Tatty Devine earrings also from 2020 never worn. I boxed the corners on the craft bag.  I'm sad I gave away all my cotton canvas fabrics around that time, I was collecting Cath Kidston cotton duck since 2014 and similar, metres ans remnants gone and can't purchase more CK now the shop is closed down, but I was able to save a small amount from the dog jacket! It fits my zips and zip tape & pulls much better.  Ok hindsight I should have interfaced the cotton or underlined with cotton flannel.

Halloween zip pouch from the scrap strip piecing from a charity pet quilt. The wheat charm is a once worn earring (2018 Tatty Devine). Moda jelly roll strip piecing offcuts, these are Halloween themed and I must have kept them to make a purse. Lining cotton was scrap too and even the batting (1 layer of prewashed cotton flannel cut off).

These recycled / scrappy quilted coin purses turned out pretty. Leftover layer cake from an ottoman quilt, leftover cotton flannel from quilt batting cut off, leftover ties I made for lining an antique box, UK tatty devine earrings deconstructed for charms never worn and I don't collect anything anymore. Zips purchased many years ago ! Gutermann thread was gifted to me too! Moda cotton for lining. Both sides are patchwork.
A while ago I remade a cushion cover, well Lucy chewed that one too, so I cut both up, I had enough left from the same fabric I sourced to make a new cushion cover. Then made these purses / pencil cases for R from the cushion covers cut to scraps. The zips are years old, lining leftover cotton and the zip ends are quilting scraps. I interfaced the textile to keep it looking smart for longer.  Different sizes as I used as much as I could whilst print matching the seams.
