Scrappy Bright Quilt

No pattern, just cut to 2.5 inch. Quilt top sewn completely from scraps, mostly leftover from charity quilts, cut to 2.5 inch if the scrap isn't too large that I can use it for bag lining, and leftover Moda jelly rolls. I love these happy colours.  It's about 48 inch wide. Binding is also leftover AGF quilt backing.

I don't want to hoard scraps but I kept these similar brights (Moda: Sweetwater, Bonnie & Camille, Sherri & Chelsea. Art Gallery Fabric) as they would make a large enough quilt one day! Also I separate my scraps into prewashed and new, because they have different shrink rates.  Quilting is white Gutermann front and back in serpentine stitch. Benartex sunflowers for the backing. Hobbs polydown wadding.

Tula Pink 100 Blocks Book

In April, I sewed 36 blocks from 1 layer cake. Moda Primitive Gatherings, Rustic Gatherings. I will probably sash them with white.

55x63 inch throw quilt for S, he wanted diamond quilting pattern so I went for crisps cross using the blocks and a ruler. Haven't finished burying all the thread ends but was running out of natural light.

Border: Art Gallery Fabric. Sashing: white writing on white Benartex. Layer cake: Moda Primitive Gatherings. Backing and binding: Benartex. Quilting: straight stitch criss cross, Gutermann in white. Batting: Hobbs polydown, lightweight and fluffy. Book: Tula Pink 100 blocks (35 blocks).
