Recycled Embroidered Placemats Quilt

Vintage embroidered placemats made into a quilt. I had 12 but used 2 for pockets in a tote bag. Then I added fabric scraps I had on stash and yardage on stash, one of the blue-grey florals is 2nd hand yardage. Own design, no pattern.

Backing and binding: Art Gallery Fabric 

Quilting: straight line in Gutermann thread white and Superior Thread cream back

Batting: Hobbs polydown.

2nd Hand Quilt Top

67 * 70 inch quilt. 2nd hand quilt top, it was a doublebed size but I had to remove the outer white  border, with a seam ripper to preserve the patchwork border, as the marks didn't wash out (on very gentle). 2nd hand quilt top. Backing: 4m Benartex. Binding: just over 1/2 m Timeless Treasures. Quilting: Aurifil thread in cream front, Superior Thread back. Batting: 4m high loft 2oz.

NL 6544 Skirt

I think almost all of my skirts are denim or canvas. Minerva supplied 3m of this pale blue cotton, so I made two skirts I've sewn before previously. New Look 6544 pencil skirt with 2 inch added to the length. Blouse is Itch to Stitch Melrose Top in cotton poplin. 

New Look pencil skirt, I used an invisible zip and hook and eye, rather than a standard zip.

Deba Topper & Stanwyck Skirt

 I purchased the quilting cotton for a Christmas quilt, but the Itch to Stitch Deba Topper  pattern test came out around the same time. I used the red colour way for the facing, it can be pressed as a collar or worn flat. I used a jewel colour rainbow jacket button (Pigeon Wishes buttons gift from Mr W).

New Look pencil skirt

Koersel Cape

Koersel Cape I think made in December. Pique cotton woven suiting end of roll purchased a couple of years ago. Binding, also used for the edge finishing, is cotton poplin cut on the bias.
