Lace Arenal & Style Arc Willow Pants

Itch to Stitch Arenal Top:
Itch to Stitch Arenal Top Ad 300 x 300
I fancied some new office tops for spring summer so I chose the 3/4 sleeve version in a light colour. I had a tshirting that I purchased it for £4/m to make a 1940s style Kathryn dress but it was too thin, ideal for an Arenal tshirt! I previously made this in a sweatshirt knit.   I added white stretch lace to the yoke, you can also use stretch wovens for this piece. I also made Style Arc Willow Pants size 12 (£9, etsy).
Necklace is a dreamcatcher earring pendant on  sterling silver chain.

These trousers are bengaline but I wanted a non stretch woven pattern so the navy diamond print wouldn't stretch. I used a medium interfacing for the waistband, and a white invisible zip. It's an easy, nifty pattern with a fashionable cigarette style and hem slits. I first hemmed these 1cm according to the pattern piece but they were a little long so I turned up an extra 2cm which lost some of the vent effect. I used an olive green tortoiseshell 2.3cm button which also match my grey Lisbon cardigan.
