Blenheim Palace Woodstock

A must-try nature walk if you're in Berkshire or Oxfordshire. We cycled to Woodstock (8 miles from Oxford train station) and left our bikes at the green gate. It was a flat motorway cycle that takes you to the little village. I wore a handmade tshirt (Not a final version, pattern not listed) on a bikeride to Blenheim Palace on a heatwave day. Fabric is an ivory-black pinstripe jersey with body (75% horizontal stretch) with a lightweight cotton jersey in dalmation print (4 way stretch).
Bunting necklace: Tatty Devine. I love the UK summertime colours on this one especially with the brass/gold.
Buttercup bracelet from the Tatty Devine London sample sale. The Chinese Lanterns necklace I admired on its release last year but the price was dear, then I found it second hand. I'm half asian so it makes me feel special and nostalgic when I wear it! The colours pop worn with white, possibly another bright solid colour, I would describe my style as smart but carefree as I never do matchy-matchy!
The colours are so gorgeous in the sunshine. I was hoping to see some pheasants (didn't appear) or take macro photos of the butterflies and brilliant turquoise damselfly and dragonflies (abundant near the lake, but hard to photograph).

The ancient and spectacular Harry Potter tree (I had to slide down this hill on my bum to see it!). We walked around the perimeter of Blenheim Palace, which I think is 4 miles. The Blenheim 12 race I used to like was three laps and undulating - a really good workout, it helps to bring a two litre bottle of water in the summer as it was hot!
